Marine House had been a dilapidating former hotel and former nursing home when ARK Estates bought the beautiful old stone building on the beachfront in Rosemarkie in the Black Isle. The building had great sentimental value to many local people and was in the heart of Rosemarkie so it was of concern to the community to see it falling into disrepair and on the market for some time. Most people were delighted to hear that we would turn it into quality apartments.
Obviously, there was significant work to be done to bring the beautiful old building up to modern standards in terms of building regulations while retaining as many of the lovely features as possible.
The last apartment to be sold has beautiful views to the beach from the living area and master bedroom and a lovely melamine floor area which could be used as a second bedroom or study.
We are extremely proud of this development.
