Ark Estates is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our developments - recycling and reusing materials where possible and implementing low carbon heating systems, efficient glazing, EV charging points and roof-mounted PV solar systems on new buildings.

Incredibly, just over 5% of the soon-to-be demolished building on our prime 0.572-acre site on Longman Industrial Estate will end up as landfill. Our demolition partners Aardvark Contracting have been instrumental in ensuring that the vast majority of materials from the former RBS branch have been recycled or reused.

So far: tiles (gifted to CDMM & Bikes of Inverness), kitchen (donated to The Fire Service), radiators, sanitary ware, electrical fittings, windows, plasterboard, copper, wood, steelwork and concrete blocks and bricks - have all been reused or recycled from the project.

Replacing the former building will be a modern, bespoke, energy-efficient building with substantial yard or parking provision. This prime site is already attracting significant interest but is still available.
